Refugee Week Greece returns for its fifth year, as part of the global Refugee Week movement celebrating the resilience, diversity, and creativity of people who have experienced displacement.

For refugees around the world, the courage to set out on unknown journeys, to learn new languages, to navigate unfamiliar systems, and, often, simply to wake up each day and face uncertainty with strength and hope.

Refugee Week 2026 invites us to come together in shared courage: the courage to welcome, to stand for our values, to celebrate culture and community, and to open space for joy, imagination, healing, and connection.

Art sits at the heart of this courage. Art becomes both refuge and resistance, helping us imagine new possibilities and build shared understanding. A strong civic culture, grounded in shared values, is essential to resilient and peaceful communities where artistic expression is not only welcomed but actively used to strengthen democracy, inclusion, and belonging.

Join us for Refugee Week Greece 2026, 15–21 June.
