Refugee Week Greece 2026

15 - 21 June

across Greece

Refugee Week Greece is an annual arts and culture festival in Greece that celebrates the stories, creativity, and contributions of refugees and migrants, while fostering dialogue, understanding, and inclusion across communities.

Co-designed and co-created with refugee, migrant, and local communities, the festival is built on meaningful participation, ensuring that people with lived experience shape both the programme and its message. It has grown into a true project of love and celebration for our communities, brought to life through the generous sharing of personal stories and the collaboration of artists, grassroots groups, civil society organisations, and institutions working together with a common purpose.

During the week, the public can enjoy a wide variety of activities, including film screenings, panel discussions, art and dance workshops, public performances, and educational programmes.

These events highlight the positive impact that refugees and migrants have on the places where they live and contribute.

Over the years, Refugee Week Greece has become a key cultural event in the country, standing out as one of the few festivals in Greece that actively celebrates refugee and migrant voices, while building strong collaboration between stakeholders to inspire more inclusive everyday practices and societies.
