Join us for an inspiring and heartfelt event organized by Inter Alia, titled “Collection Day @ Outcast Europe.” This unique gathering is an open call to communities and individuals with migrant or refugee backgrounds to share their personal stories and treasured objects that symbolize their journeys.
Preparation:
We invite participants to bring an object that holds deep significance to their migration experience. This call goes out one month prior to the event, giving individuals ample time to reflect and prepare. Interested participants are asked to fill in an entry form with their full name, contact details, and a brief description of their meaningful object.
Collection Day:
On the day of the event, participants will have the opportunity to engage in intimate discussions with interviewers, sharing the profound narratives behind their objects. These one-on-one interviews will be recorded, capturing the essence of each story. Later, the interviews will be transcribed and published on the Outcast Europe website https://outcasteurope.eu/, creating a lasting archive of these powerful personal histories.
